Here's my entry for the craftbubble let's get stamping challenge. There was a sketch to follow as usual with the added element of adding something twisted. I made the little wire bee! I also hade a go and making this shaped card, something different anyway!

I have been working on this card for a while tonight and it's using the new cute companions cdrom and some of the stamps. I have not used promarkers and actually went back to my H20s. Not used them for a while and it was nice to use them for a change. It's a special card for my cousin who turns 50 soon. She loves gardening so I thought this would be perfect for her. I loved fiddling around with the little images deciding what my story would be. I hope you like it too.
It's our wedding anniversary coming up. It'll be eight years this June and they all show!! Here's an anniversary card I have made based on the craftbubble sketch this week from the let's get stamping group that I belong to. The image is from a CD and it's perfect also for the allsorts challenge which this week is not to use a stamped image. I did have to stamp the wording though as I didn't have any peel offs!

Here's the card that my friend Nicky sent to me in our personal friend exchange that we have decided to do once a month to cheer ourselves up. It's working!! Thanks Nicky I love it and it did make me smile! Love that pussy cat stamp!

Wow, this week seems to be a challenge in itself with several new challenge blogs out and I want to do them all but there's just not enough time! Well this is my entry for the new allsorts challenge blog where the theme is sweets. This was a definite challenge for me as having been to visit the dentist and being too well aquainted with the dreaded drill today I think sweets are off the menu for a while!! Still who doesn't like chocoloate when the dentist isn't breathing down your neck!!I have used a pollycraft image from the cherry kisses range, pink petticoat papers and sentiment and in addition I have used some sissix dies. I used my sewing machine for real stitches and a fiskars border punch which I had forgotten I had which is always nice! xx

Having only recently discovered Pollycraft challenge blog and had a look in the shop for more scrummy digital designs I decided to do my first challenge this week. It's week 15 and the theme is flowers. They can be any kind of flowers as long as there's plenty of them!
Her's mine complete with Prima flowers, various brad flowers and even the downloadable images had flowers. just right to cheer up a friend who's ill I think!

The challenge on Friday over on the dareu blog was to use lilac and lemon. Here's my card using a Pollycraft download. The lilac paper was a pink petticoat one and the yellow paper is a docrafts one. I also used the blooming dots cuttlebug embossing folder. I like the clean, fresh feel to this one!
Here's my take on the challenge. There was a sketch to follow along with two twists which were 1. use a punch somewhere on your card and 2. use a card size you don't normally use. I happen to hate this card size so it certainly was a challenge and the punch I have used is a fiskars one. Despite the fact that I hate the card size I still love the card and am quite pleased with the outcome!

Myself and my dear friend Nicky were chatting on facebook the other night and both feeling a bit down in the mouth. Then Nicky had this great idea of exchanging cards with each other on a monthly basis. We are going to take turns in setting the desired challenge and then post it! Here's my card to her, using a penny black stamp and pink petticoat papers! Just hope she likes it! xx

Here's my take on this weeks challenge over on the craftbubble forum. I'm part of the let's get stamping group. Please come and join us!! I must also at this point thank my friend Teresa for being kind enough to send me her stamp so that I could stamp my own images before returning her stamp to her. Teresa, it's going to be hard to part with you know!!! This card will be going to a sick child on the http://www.postpals.co.uk/ site. Please go and take a look. My husband lost his 4 year old niece to cancer a few years ago and just sending a card or message can mean so much.
I saw this image on Sandra Dry's downloadable images and knew it would be perfect for my Dad for Father's Day as he just loves the advert! I used promarkers and chalk to colour and pink petticoat downloadable papers. The ribbon was recycled from a box of chocs that we had at work this week from a little boy who left us. How bad is this?? Somebody had already thrown it in the bin and I dived in to take it out!! Thankfully no nasties in the bin just paper but I know I would have had to have it whatever was there!! HELP!!
