LGS group.

This week is an extra special "LGS group on craftbubble" challenge. We have the kind offer from Sharon to give to one lucky person the downlaod Alfie and the postbox. Pop over to our group and see what they have been up to. I have chosen to make my interpretation into a handbag card. Here is the sketch and my bag! Our twist is to get digital! Use digi stamps and digi papers!

I'm so behind!

I'm so behind with my blogging antics! I have just been too busy to do any. I have now only just had time to reveal the whole card from this weeks WSC challenge. Pop over to the blog to take a look at all the DT creativity. Here is the full reveal of my card.

New Willow sketchie challenge.

Well, after my little teaser yesterday it's only fair to show you the full reveal today! Here he is in all his beautiful fluffiness! This is Alfie and the postbox download and he can be found in Sharon's shop.

Our design team set to work with a fab sketch from Heidi and please go and take a look at the Willow sketchie design team blog where you can see how we have all played with Sharon's beautiful downloads and come up with some very different ideas.
I chose to make an easel card with mine and used the flower shaped Alfie images, glossy accented to hold the easel card open. I have stitched the edges to add interest and added a simple white button to lift the colours.

I do hope you like it. As for me I love this little bird and I think it's so versatile as either a birthday card, or keep in touch or in fact any occassion that requires sending a card, you are only limited by your imagination!

Teresa's card from me.

I still continue to send my friend Teresa a card every month...well most months as to be honest it's been a bit hectic since Christmas. Here I have used an image form the Jayne Netley-Mayhew cdrom. The challenge Teresa set us was to use animals. As Teresa loves her chickens here's the one I sent ot her!. x

A sneaky tease!

Well it's my Willow sketchie design team debut tomorrow and here's a sneaky peek of the download we will be using. Sharon's beautiful downloads can be purchased from here

Messy moments

Every now and again you need a card in a hurry! Now today has been one such occassion! In times of quickness I turn to my cd collection which is quite large and I can spend many a happy hour just admiring the images and backing papers. So here's two cards I have made. One for my hubby for Valentine's Day and one for my best friend's wedding anniversary!

No stamped image madness on LGS craftbubble group!

Morning! Well, another Saturday and another sketch over on the LGS group challenge on Craftbubble. This week Lauren really stretched our grey matter and provided us with a lovely sketch and a twist to take us right out of our comfort zones! The twist this week was to have stamping on your card somewhere but not a stamped image and to make your own embellishments the central feature. I have made a handbag, wrapped some cord around the handel for texture and added a huge flower as the decoration on it. I have stamped a random purple pattern all over it. This was quite a hard challenge and certainly got all of the design team thinking!!!

I have continued using Karen's sketch and my Bagpuss stamp set!

Let's get stamping group on Craftbubble.

This week on LGS on Craftbubble Karen set the sketch and her twist is Wings. I first thought about fairies and then aeroplanes and finally birds and I dug out this stamp which I bought ages ago and have never used. It's professor Yaffle from Bagpuss. He has been coloured with promarkers and glossy acccented. as usual I have used stitching. I think it's my thing and I figure the more I do the neater it will become. Please stop by Craftbubble and join in with the fun!

It's great that the Willow sketchie challenge has started again. Sharon provided a fab sketch this week and I loved it soooo much that I made two cards using the sketch and two of her very cute owl downloads.
