Farmyard theme on Craft mad and loving it.

Here's my entry for last week's theme on CMLI on craftbubble. The theme was farmyards!

Craft Mad and loving it challenge 3.

Our lovely Lauren set the challenge this week over on our craftbubble group. She provided a fab sketch and her twist was  "bloom where you're planted. "

My good news!

I won a charmed download collection on Dottie's World! I love my downloads and Louise's drawings are some of  the best digi designs out there! I  just love the new fairy tale collection and have a list of the digi stamps I want to own! I have chosen Sugar and Spice and am looking forward to these coming my way very soon! xx

Another easel

The image is a Lili of the valley coloured with prismas.

Dotties world challenge

This week on Dottie's world the challenge is to use a charmed downlaod and make a card that reflects a movie.  This was a pretty hard one and I'm ashamed to say that I went for the easy option and did The sword in the stone!

Craft Mad and loving it challenge 2.

This week on Craft mad and Loving it on the craftbubble group sees the challenge from Karen. Her twist is to use lace and pearls.
Here's my take on her challenge.

This week's Dottie's World challenge.

This week over on Dottie's world the challenge is to make a summery card and a different card to your usual style.  I thought I'd make an easel card for a change as I haven't made one of these for a while.  I have been playing around with some images from the Once upon a time collection and have merged several images to get this final image.  The papers are freebies from Cardmaking and papercraft and I have dragged out my sewing maching to have a bit of a play with the stitching. A nice quickish card, perfect for a little girl this summer. This challenge also fits in with our Sunday themed challenge on Craft Mad and Loving it on Craftbubble which is to make anything covering the theme of fairy tales.

I confess to going a bit mad with this fab collection and made another two cards!

Moving on again!

It's been some time in the planning. but now I'm pleased to announce that Lauren, myself and Karen have branched out and started a new group on Craftbubble called Craft Mad and Loving it.  We will also be running a blog alongside this where we will be showcasing craft techniques, etc. I will pop the link on, later.
We have a brand new challenge this week, set by me and the challenge is to make a card inspired by the phrase " Ink and emboss my friend" In honour of our moving home form the LGS group to CMLI my sketch incorporates a suitcase!

My card uses two of the stamps from Elzybells, which I was saddend to see is closing its doors. My image is coloured with promarkers.

New Dottie's World challenge.

This week on Dottie's World the challenge is to make a card having a vintage and summer theme. Ok I have succombed and purchased the new Fairytale collection from Charmed crafts.  So, I couldn't resist it ok? It's a stunning collection and a bargain price and of course digi stamps have so much potential! I have merged three of the images from the collection and this little babe is for my nephew's birthday later in the month.

New Craftbubble challenge

This week on The LGS craftbubble group challenge, the delightful KathyK set us the challenge of making a Christmas card and the twist of using thread! Now Christmas not being me, I confess to having to grit my teeth with this one!  ( Sorry Kathy!!) It's not that I don't like making Chritsmas cards, it's just not for me until it's cold and chilly and the fire's on and hubby gets used to finding glitter in his boxer shorts!  Christmas in July just doesn't become me!
Anyway, the image is a Penny Black as is the sentiment.

Dottie's World

Last Sunday's Dottie's world challenge was to make a card using a charmed download and fiery colours.  I am very late blogging this as there is a new challenge tomorrow, but as I have said in my previous post Blogger and I had issues! My image is from the Pixie Chick collection and I see that they have a brand new fairytale collection available.  My crafty friends know how much I love my downloads, but I must resist the temptation, even though it is a stunning collection and I MUST have it! Better wait for next pay day then!

Time to move on.

After me and blogger falling out for a few weeks, I have been inspired by my fellow crafty friends to restart blogging. I didn't think I could do it as I had fallen out of love! Blogger played up big time and I had finished with with him! I refuse to messed around by a bad tempered piece of software! Pah! Well, typically I have given in! We have made up and I'm moving on, allowing blogger to become part of my life again.  I tell you though, one more dose of the funny business and he can forget it. I'll be moving to the other side!!! Blogger you have been warned!

New Craftbubble challenge.

This week on Craftbubble's LGS group Karen has set us the challenge of making a Christmas card! As I'm writing this scheduled post, the sun is shining and I'm really not feeling at all in the festive mood!  Here's my card for her challenge nestled happily in amongst my strawberries: which hopefully will not have been eaten by the pesky slugs whilst I'm gadding about! My papers are Pink Petticoat from the Fairy Lights collection.  My image is a charmed cards and crafts one and the ribbon is a spool that I bought in M and S, supposedly to adorn pressies, but my cards were far more deserving!

Lili of the Valley stamps.

I simply adore the Lili of the Valley stamps. Here is an old one, which I just adore! She has been coloured up with my Prismas, which have taken over as my rediscovered new love! Yes, my Promarkers are getting a rest but I don't know for how long! I know I can't keep away from those babies forever!

I have used the lovely sketch that is currently on the Lili of the Valley challenge blog.

New Dottie's World challenge.

This week over on Dottie's World the challenge is to make a Father's Day card, or any Masculine card.  Here is mine.  It has been coloured with my Prismas and the papers are very old ones form the bottom of my stash drawer. I'm very fond of this one and may have trouble parting with it!!

Lili of the Valley challenge.

I recently bought some of these Lili of the Valley stamps and haven't as yet inked them all up. They are all gorgeous and I confess that I want them all! I am fast making that a reality too!

Anyway, I decided to check out the Lili of the Valley challenge blog and discovered a fab sketch by Dawny P. I have coloured my image with Prismas. Embellishments are from Wild Orchid crafts, but be warned you'll spend a fortune!

New craftbubble challenge.

Wynneth, set the challenge on the LGS group this week ove ron Craftbubble. Her challenge was to follow her sketch and the twist was Eastern Promise.

Last post of the day, I think!

My last card of the day is this one, which again is a Mo's image and also my last purchase of Mo's images!
You know what I used to colour it, don't you?! I love the girls in their tutus here....just so cute.

Another Mo!

Well, as I said in a previous post I had to buy more than one Mo image! This time I need to thank Cherry for the backing paper as I won it in her blog candy a while ago. So thanks to you as well hun. Again my image has been coloured with prismas.

Sunday Greens with a bit of love.

See  I just love this inkadinkado stamp set and I particularly love this little snowman. This was a quick and easy make, just snippets of ...
