And a fairy watercoloured with H20s

A few shaped cards

Get well card for a friend

Been playing on the computer today so have been printing out some papers and things, replying to emails........you know the usual stuff! Anyway after making a card for the Willow Sketchie I liked the idea of making gatefold cards and have decided to make another for a friend who is having a knee op. I have made this with the card makers year cdrom and had fun just browsing around the images.

Chinese New Year/ Craftbubble willow sketchie

This is my Craftbubble Willow Sketchie for this week. I have used my embossing powders and stamps to make the background papers and a selection of Oriental stamps that I have collected over the years from Lakeland's sales! I just love the combination of red and gold, it feels so festive ( again!!) If you are not already a member of craftbubble then please do go and take a look. It's a lovely friendly, creative place to be

A massive thank you

I have to say that just recently I have been inundated with lovely comments on my cards and my blog. Thank you all so much. I read each and every one of them. I have never been that confident in the cards I have made and all of your truly lovely comments have really given me that confidence boost I needed. I so enjoy showcasing what I make now and I am also completely fascinated and truly inspired by your blogs. Thank you once again!

Last couple of pink petticoats before bedtime!

Well, another weekened gone and here are my last two cards of the weekend!

Craftbubble willow sketchie

Here's my card in response to the willow sketchie challenge on craftbubble. I have used pink petticoat papers and image, distressing and paperfolding to make the little handbag.

Some more pink petticoats that I forgot to put on!

Here are some more pink petticoat cards that I forgot to put on from my card making frenzy the other night! I just love these images and backing paper and they are a very economical way to craft I find! I've coloured the images with sakura gel pens, brushmarkers, and pearly doodles. the buttons came courtesy of Emma's blog candy ( Thanks hun!) and I've used a few bits from my secret santa present stash that we had at work this year.

Been making and playing with some pink petticoat images. There will be more to follow when I can get around to finishing them off! I think this little toad is perfect for the love of my life, although I moan about him sometimes I do love him to bits and he is my toadal soul mate! Backing paper is a pink petticoat download too

Sketchie on fairydust blog

Last challenge for the weekend! My printer ran out of ink and these pretty papers are new from Pink petticoat, but because my printer ran out of ink they didn't print in the colours I originally wanted! I think this was the hand of fate so I used them anyway!! Apologies Sharon for not putting the little dangly thing on!!

Craftbubble

Just recently I have discovered Craftbubble. It's a great place to meet like-minded friends. This card was done for the Willow sketchie challenge and has been made from all those scraps that we have! This was, and still is my New Years Resolution and so far it's going well! These challenges seem to be great for this! So I recommend that you go and check it out and make some new friends!

Back to work for a whole week!!

Well, it was back to work properly for me today and the little loves were full of life. When asking a child what Santa brought him, he replied quite sternly " I can't remember, can I?" He then added later " Oh, I remember now Rosie, I had chocolate, lots of it and I ate it all" Yep that's Christmas for you!! There's been lots of talk today from them about how they missed their friends over Christmas and they were pleased to see each other. Two minutes later order was restored and the usual cries of " He threw sand at me" " I was playing with that" and " I'm not playing THAT" filtered across the nursery.............looks like tomorrow we shall have to review our planning and talk about friends, how to make them, look after them and not aggravate them!!!!!

With this in mind I have made a card to share. This one is also for all of you, my lovely blogging friends........................and I'm nearly 4 and I know how to share, so there!! xxxxxxxxxxx

Just one more before bedtime

Just had to make a quick flower card. They aren't my favourite stamps but needed a card in a hurry! Also this was the first stamp I ever bought. I would be interested to know what the first stamp was that you all bought and challenge you to make a card with it!

Willow sketchie

I have been such a bad blogger recently and not added much to it. It's a new year so hopefully I will get better! I am actually quite glad to have put all the christmas craft stuff away but have had fun stroking all my christmassy stuff before it gets put away in the cupboard for another year. I only have a small space to work in so I have to do this!

So it's back to the challenges and I was pleased to see that Sharon has a new one for us. I was determined to delve in to that box of " very useful scrap bits of paper and card" that I know you all keep too! I was also keen to use one of my Sarah Kay stamps that I had for Christmas. I used my H2Os to colour them in and I really must buy some more of these this year as I am struggling with skin tones with the sets I have.............ooh any excuse to go and look at the craft websites!!

Sunday Greens with a bit of love.

See  I just love this inkadinkado stamp set and I particularly love this little snowman. This was a quick and easy make, just snippets of ...
