Sarah Kay beauty.

I just love these Sarah Kay images, they are so sweet and it's a such a shame that Stampavie went out of business. I have a significant collecton of these and thought it might be nice to colour one of them up. I've gone for blue as I used some of the gorgeous papers that my friend Diane gave to me. My image has been coloured with copics and prisma pencils and the flowers are a mixture of die cuts from magnolia and whiff of joys. The larger blue flowers have been sprayed with cosmic shimmer. My trusty old sewing machine has also made an appearance.

Craftbubble sketch

Here's my take on this weeks challenge over on the craftbubble forum. I'm part of the let's get stamping group. Please come and join us!! I must also at this point thank my friend Teresa for being kind enough to send me her stamp so that I could stamp my own images before returning her stamp to her. Teresa, it's going to be hard to part with you know!!! This card will be going to a sick child on the http://www.postpals.co.uk/ site. Please go and take a look. My husband lost his 4 year old niece to cancer a few years ago and just sending a card or message can mean so much.

Sarah Kay

I made this using a colouring page I found on the internet. I cropped and resized the image in Word and then coloured with promarkers. I'm really quite pleased with this and it was much cheaper than buying the stamp!!

Willow sketchie

I have been such a bad blogger recently and not added much to it. It's a new year so hopefully I will get better! I am actually quite glad to have put all the christmas craft stuff away but have had fun stroking all my christmassy stuff before it gets put away in the cupboard for another year. I only have a small space to work in so I have to do this!

So it's back to the challenges and I was pleased to see that Sharon has a new one for us. I was determined to delve in to that box of " very useful scrap bits of paper and card" that I know you all keep too! I was also keen to use one of my Sarah Kay stamps that I had for Christmas. I used my H2Os to colour them in and I really must buy some more of these this year as I am struggling with skin tones with the sets I have.............ooh any excuse to go and look at the craft websites!!

Willow sketchie

Another week has gone, where does the time go? I have been so busy with things that my crafting has had to take a back seat, but then I saw these Sarah Kay stamps while browsing for a stamp pressie for another crafty friend and I just had to buy it!! The detail on these stamps is amazing and of course now I want them all and I want them now!! ( Stamps feet and jumps up and down!!!) I know that this will not be happening though as hubby has never really understood my need to buy yet more stamps!! Haven't I got enough already????!! Bah humbug!! Still I think I deserve another little pressie to myself from Santa as I have been good most of the year!!

Anyway, thanks Sharon for another little willow sketchie which I just had to do. The sketch was very inspiring and I love it so much that I am going to make a few more similar to this as I need to make some birthday cards for an exchange that I take part in with my cross stitch friends. I used my lush H20s to colour the image, hence its vibrancy.

Sunday Greens with a bit of love.

See  I just love this inkadinkado stamp set and I particularly love this little snowman. This was a quick and easy make, just snippets of ...
