Craftbubble challenge

Yesterday was craftbubble challenge day! I thought I'd better do this one as I hadn't done last weeks! Whoops! Anyway, I wanted to make a thankyou card for my friend for the great night we had last night whilst our other halves were away on a stag weekend! Any excuse to make a card I say! Anyway there was a sketch as always and you had to include some sparkle! I have added some glitter to the leaves which you can't unfortunately see and the girl's belt! The image is a digi one from charmed cards and crafts and the papers are all various pink petticoat ones apart from the base paper which is a dovecraft one. I have also used my new nestability dies!! I want them all!!

Been on a roll!!!

I have really been on a roll the past couple of days! I don't know what's come over me! I know it's actually a promarker/rabbit addiction!! I am enjoying playing with promarkers so much that all my old stamps are getting dusted off and making an outing! They are jolly pleased about it too! The rabbit and chick cards are Penny Black stamps....always very distinctive I think! The two gorgeous girlies are digi stamps from http://www.charmedcardsandcrafts.co.uk/ from the Holly and Madison collection. They are absolutely delightful! Don't look if you don't want to spend any money though!!!!!

One for luck!

As well as being a flower fairy lover I am also a Pride and Prejudice lover! I have read the book so many times and just love it every single time! I have a very good friend who is having a birthday in April and she too is in love with Jane Austen.....we even visited her house in Chawton together and could imagine her writing at her table! Having seen the new Jolly Nation decoupage sheets I did think " Oh if only they would bring out a stamp" and guess what, they have!! I am of course delighted and will be stamping this everywhere!! It's the first time I have used these stamps and I have to say that they are delightful! I have made this card plain and simple and somewhat nostalgic. I know my friend will love them, especially with their literary connection..........".it is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife"

New crafters companion Cdrom

Okay so I had some birthday money and I blew it!! I was always a fairy girl and had all the flower fairy books as a child. I read them so much that they fell apart! Anyway, I have a couple of the old Inca flower fairy stamps and had to have the new CDrom from crafters companion to go with them! But, just playing with the cdrom I found this pyramage and had to have a go! Nice, quick and easy! Just right for when you need a card in a hurry!

Getting ready for Easter!

I usually send a few Easter cards to family and a couple of close friends, but I am a bit behind and have only managed two!! I have used my promarkers to colour both images and the chick is a Penny black stamp, while the rabbit is an ancient one in my stamp collection which was always difficult to achieve a satisfactory colouring with watercolours I always felt! I am loving the way my promarkers have really brought this rabbit to life. What is it with me and rabbits?? I am obsessed!!!!

Another messy rabbit!

I seem to have fallen in love with rabbits as I am beginning to notice a bit of a pattern to making rabbit cards!! Here's one I made using the new messy rabbit from Joanna Sheen CD.

new craftbubble challenge.

Here's my entry this week for the craftbubble challenge. As usual there was a sketch to follow and this time we had to think about the colours we were using on our cards. I have opted to focus on the pale pinks and blue of my promarker coloured image. I have used a pearly blue card which you can't really see in the photo but I promise you it's there! I'm not really sure that I actually like this card, but it's gfrowing on me!

Craftbubble challenge

OOH, have just come back from my morning at Uni and have the rest of the day off to get over it!! So what better way to relax than to have a go at the craftbubble " Let's get stamping"challenge! This weeks challenge was to get naked!! No, not literally!! Brr too cold for that!! But basically to get those embellishments and layering, not to mention ribbons off of your cards! This was quite a difficult challenge. I so wanted some lovely layers and pretty ribbons but Sharon said " NO" !! So here it is.. nothing more than a willow design stamp, an old egg stamp I dug out from the bottom of my stamp drawer(s) and promarkers. Actually, I have surprised myself. It looks fab! Now do I go over my notes from this morning.... or do I get stamping...............hmn.....................not a difficult choice!!!!

Craftbubble challenge

I have had lots of fun playing with my new download and have used it to do the sketchie challenge on craft bubble. You had to use some textures and I have gone totally texture crazy! I have played with the sketch and turned some things around and not others. I made the fence around the fairy 3D by bending and folding and am in the middle of making another card with this download. I love it!! Images have been coloured with my beloved promarkers.

Sunday Greens with a bit of love.

See  I just love this inkadinkado stamp set and I particularly love this little snowman. This was a quick and easy make, just snippets of ...
