Lili of the valley and allsorts challenge.

This week's lili of the valley challenge is fairies and this week's Allsorts challenge is " things with wings" so here's mine and yes, I have been getting somewhat inky today! Best go and clear the mess up now....or carry on making a mess|!! Who needs to eat at a table???!!

Mos digital pencil challenge

Here's my contribution to Mo's challenge this week which is "Pearls and flowers". I am also entering this one in to the crafters companion challenge which is girls' birthdays. I'm getting this one by the skin of my teeth as it closes at 8pm tonight! Phew!

Shhhh, it's a secret!

I have been beavering away over a hot crafting table today as hubby has been at work and I have been left to make a mess!! Ooh yes, us crafters are very good at that..or is that just me?!! Well it's almost my tenth wedding anniversary and we are off to Torquay for a mini holiday. This is the card I have made for the other half for our special day. It's a lili of the valley stamp and not too girly! Ok the flowers are..but they are made with masculine papers!!

Penny Black Saturday Challenge.

This week, the Penny Black Saturday challenge is " One for the girlies". I have just discovered this challenge and don't play with my gorgeous Penny Black stamps as much as I should! So it's the perfect excuse!

Karen's Saturday CMLI challenge.

Karen set the challenge this week over on the CMLI group. As usual we were treated to a fab sketch and the twist of Christmas.  well it's never too early to start making those cards.  It will creep up on you pretty fast you know!!

Four in one.

Here's four challenges wrapped up in one card. Penny Black Saturday have gone all " fussy and fancy", I have used the Willow sketchie challenge sketch and the ribbon girl challenge "pink and lilac".  Finally the lothian crafts challenge this month is " an easel card".
Thanks go to Lauren for that fabulous lilac ribbon. Sorry hun......I had to cut my stress toy up!! xxxx

Lili of the valley summertime challenge.

This week's Lili of the Valley challenge is " Summertime" and here's mine. Washing the car is only something to be done on a dry, sunny day!! That's my excuse anyway!

Mo's distressed challenge.

This week Mo's challenge is " distressed". here's my take on the challenge with a card I have made for Father's Day.  It's not like me to be so organised, but organised I am!! The papers are pink petticoat.

New craftbubble challenge. CMLI group. Nicola's sketch

Sorry, I didn't post this yesterday, I had one of those days where I gave the toilet unconditional love and my bed second place! It started on Friday night and spent most of yesterday moaning and groaning, but feeling more like myself today, but I have been left with a snotty cold! One of the hazards of my job I guess!

Anyway, I have been making things this morning as I am seriously craft deprived. These weren't all made today, but they have been waiting for Photographs to go on!  The lovely Nicola of our CMLI group hosted the sketch this week with the twist of up, up and away.

Lili of the Valley challenge

Here is my card for the Lili of the Valley challenge which this week is Ribbon and bows.  I have also played with  the sketch from Willow Sketchie Challenge. The image has been coloured with prismas for which I make no apologies! I have fallen in love with them all over again and can't stop using them. There's also soimething magical about them.  Sorry promarkers you're getting a rest at the moment!

Penny Black Saturday Challenge.

Those of you that know mw know that I am most definitely NOT a CAS card maker! So this to me feels like there's something missing! Anyway the challenge this week on Penny Black Saturday challenge is Clean and Simple, so here it is. The image is adorable and I really enjoyed getting out my prismas again for this little lovely.

Mo's challenge

This week on Mo's challenge the theme is " Here comes Summer". Mo has loads of images to choose from for this challenge. This one was a freebie that I picked up yonks ago and just sums up my memories of long summers at the now closed Lido in Bath when I was a child. Many a happy summer was spent there with my brother and our friends.  It was always hot and we always took a picnic. Funnily enough my dad used to do the same thing when he was a child! It's just a shame that it's now closed!

A thinking about you card.

What kind of card do you send to a young man who has been diagnosed with cancer? I have battled with this all week. I didn't think a get well soon card was appropriate as we don't know as yet whether he will get better and also his two small children don't know that Daddy is ill. But I wanted to say something. I spent forever digging through my stamp collection sorting and grouping, discarding and at one point despairing. Then I came across this Elzybells stamp and I thought to myself a battle is exactly what he's facing right now and maybe this image is  subtle enough to just say what I can't put into words. I just wish that I didn't have to make this card and I can't stop thinking about my brother's best friend who has always been in our lives. I just hope that he can beat this battle.

Lauren's birdie challenge.

This week on the CMLI group on Craftbubble Lauren has asked us to watch the birdie. As always we had a sketch to follow and this week my p[risma pencils have been taking a battering.  I have enjoyed dusting them off and having a play. The image is  a Mo Manning one and is called coexist.

Mo's digital pencil challenge

This week's challenge on Mo's digital pencil is monochromatic. This was quite a challenge for me as I am not a monochromatic person!  I adore colours, so being restrained from mixing them was very, very hard! I have coloured this image with twinkling H20s, not very successfully, I have to admit from the photo! It looks better in real life.... ho hum! Anyway this little stunning image is called Kansas.

Craft Mad and loving it new chasllenge

This week it was my turn to set the sketch and theme on Craftbubble's group Craft Mad and loving it.  Here is my sketch and my twist is hedgehogs.

Sunday Greens with a bit of love.

See  I just love this inkadinkado stamp set and I particularly love this little snowman. This was a quick and easy make, just snippets of ...
