Lovely surprise!

Last post of the night.
I have been working on this card for a while tonight and it's using the new cute companions cdrom and some of the stamps. I have not used promarkers and actually went back to my H20s. Not used them for a while and it was nice to use them for a change. It's a special card for my cousin who turns 50 soon. She loves gardening so I thought this would be perfect for her. I loved fiddling around with the little images deciding what my story would be. I hope you like it too.
Wedding anniversary card
It's our wedding anniversary coming up. It'll be eight years this June and they all show!! Here's an anniversary card I have made based on the craftbubble sketch this week from the let's get stamping group that I belong to. The image is from a CD and it's perfect also for the allsorts challenge which this week is not to use a stamped image. I did have to stamp the wording though as I didn't have any peel offs!

Allsorts challenge.
Wow, this week seems to be a challenge in itself with several new challenge blogs out and I want to do them all but there's just not enough time! Well this is my entry for the new allsorts challenge blog where the theme is sweets. This was a definite challenge for me as having been to visit the dentist and being too well aquainted with the dreaded drill today I think sweets are off the menu for a while!! Still who doesn't like chocoloate when the dentist isn't breathing down your neck!!
I have used a pollycraft image from the cherry kisses range, pink petticoat papers and sentiment and in addition I have used some sissix dies. I used my sewing machine for real stitches and a fiskars border punch which I had forgotten I had which is always nice! xxTuesday, 19 May 2009
Pollycraft Monday challenge.
Having only recently discovered Pollycraft challenge blog and had a look in the shop for more scrummy digital designs I decided to do my first challenge this week. It's week 15 and the theme is flowers. They can be any kind of flowers as long as there's plenty of them!
Her's mine complete with Prima flowers, various brad flowers and even the downloadable images had flowers. just right to cheer up a friend who's ill I think!

Dare u challenge
Another postpals card
Katie's challenge on craftbubble
Here's my take on the challenge. There was a sketch to follow along with two twists which were 1. use a punch somewhere on your card and 2. use a card size you don't normally use. I happen to hate this card size so it certainly was a challenge and the punch I have used is a fiskars one. Despite the fact that I hate the card size I still love the card and am quite pleased with the outcome!

Friendship card from Teresa
My friend exchange.
Myself and my dear friend Nicky were chatting on facebook the other night and both feeling a bit down in the mouth. Then Nicky had this great idea of exchanging cards with each other on a monthly basis. We are going to take turns in setting the desired challenge and then post it! Here's my card to her, using a penny black stamp and pink petticoat papers! Just hope she likes it! xx
Katie's blog candy!
Katie over on her blog has some wonderful candy which she will close once she gets 2000 hits! So quick take a look at her candy. The sooner she gets those hits the sooner some lucky person will win!

Craftbubble sketch
Here's my take on this weeks challenge over on the craftbubble forum. I'm part of the let's get stamping group. Please come and join us!! I must also at this point thank my friend Teresa for being kind enough to send me her stamp so that I could stamp my own images before returning her stamp to her. Teresa, it's going to be hard to part with you know!!! This card will be going to a sick child on the http://www.postpals.co.uk/ site. Please go and take a look. My husband lost his 4 year old niece to cancer a few years ago and just sending a card or message can mean so much.
Meercat!
I saw this image on Sandra Dry's downloadable images and knew it would be perfect for my Dad for Father's Day as he just loves the advert! I used promarkers and chalk to colour and pink petticoat downloadable papers. The ribbon was recycled from a box of chocs that we had at work this week from a little boy who left us. How bad is this?? Somebody had already thrown it in the bin and I dived in to take it out!! Thankfully no nasties in the bin just paper but I know I would have had to have it whatever was there!! HELP!!
