whiff of joy challenge

There is a fab sketch challenge over at Whiff of Joy and here's my creation which also follows the Sunday theme on CMLI at craftbubble which is " Fruit and fibre".  I have coloured my image and the strawberries with distress inks.  this is the first time I have coloured with them and I obviously need more practice!

Whiff of Joy challenge.

Can you tell that I have been seriously deprived of my crafting after breaking a bone in  my hand? Well, it's been getting plenty of colouring practice today! I decided that I need to use more of the gorgeous Whiff of joy stamps that I own and so I popped over to the whiff of joy challenge blog and found a lovely sketch to use.  I will only just get this challenge in on time, but I think I'll be playing again some time soon! I have used one of the stamps from the Fall 2009 stamp kit.

New Lils.

The girl in the feather boa is going to be entered into Lauren's challenge on the CMLI group to restore, renew, recycle as I made this card using scraps of cards and papers from previous projects and the ribbon was from a present I had at Christmas. the die cut flowers were made with scraps of old card as well. The stamp was new but it was " renewed" as it was the first time I have stamped with it!!

New craftbubble challenge. CMLI group.

Well I am so pleased to be back on the DT at CMLI group on craftbubble. This time our lovely Lauren set the sketchie to start off the new year with the twist of making a thank you card. I have used a fab Elzybell's image with an unusual grey/blue colour scheme which devaites form the norm for me!
