Well what a week it has been... One swollen eye which has itched like mad which has also come and gone. ( worse some days than others and more itchy in the mornings and early evenings) At least I now know what the problem is, after visiting the opticians, and frankly I'm not that surprised! Anyway, on to this weeks lovely sketch which was provided by the fabulous Karen. Her challenge was to make a tree themed card using her sketch. I have gone all house mouse this week and used a fabby Joanna Sheen one. My image has been coloured with prisma pencils. Yes, I am still in love with them and have ditched my promarkers, for now..I just find the whole colouring with pencils so much more subtle and satisfying for these stamps and I find prismas are more user friendly than promarkers!

Sewing project
Here's a little bag I have been making this weekend. It is the freebie that comes with the Cath Kidston book sew.
I have been meaning to make it for ages, but just haven't had the time. It was easy to make and I really like how it's turned out, very summery don't ya think? There are a few lovely projects in the book that I want to have a go at!

A Pirate's Life for me!
Ok blogger is playing up big time and this is my third attempt to try and post this card. I have used another of the Lili of the Valley images and have coloured it with my prisma pencils. The papers are Pink Petticoat as is the sentiment and the button twine is from the ribbon girl.
Harry Potter!
Here's a card I have been fiddling with today. It's for my little nephew's fourth birthday in a couple of week's time. I have used one of the fabby Lili of the Valley images and again it's been coloured with prisma pencils. My new old choice of colouring medium. I love the subtlies you can achieve with these pencils and they suit these style of stamps. Well I have been a naughty girl too as I popped over to Lili of the valley last week and found myself carefully placing another load of these gorgeous stamps in my basket. Don't go there! You'll be absolutely compelled to buy some!! I know I was!!
This week's Craftbubble CMLI group challenge was set by the delectable Lauren. She provided us with a fabulous sketch and asked us to think Shabby Chic. Here's my card using an old Magnolia image. I love these pastel colours. My image has been coloured with prisma pencils. I am having trouble going back to promarkers and prefer the look you get with pencils at the moment. Us crafters are soooooo fickle!

New Craftbubble CMLI group challenge.
This weeks Saturday challenge on CMLI on Craftbubble was set by me. I chose to ask peeps to be inspired by either of these two paintings
I decided to go with the Van Gogh painting and here's my card.
