No stamped image madness on LGS craftbubble group!

Morning! Well, another Saturday and another sketch over on the LGS group challenge on Craftbubble. This week Lauren really stretched our grey matter and provided us with a lovely sketch and a twist to take us right out of our comfort zones! The twist this week was to have stamping on your card somewhere but not a stamped image and to make your own embellishments the central feature. I have made a handbag, wrapped some cord around the handel for texture and added a huge flower as the decoration on it. I have stamped a random purple pattern all over it. This was quite a hard challenge and certainly got all of the design team thinking!!!

This week on LGS on Craftbubble Karen set the sketch and her twist is Wings. I first thought about fairies and then aeroplanes and finally birds and I dug out this stamp which I bought ages ago and have never used. It's professor Yaffle from Bagpuss. He has been coloured with promarkers and glossy acccented. as usual I have used stitching. I think it's my thing and I figure the more I do the neater it will become. Over on the let's et stamping group over on Craftbubble the challenge this week was set by Karen with the twist of using embossing somewhere on your card. I have chose to use this cute image from Pollycraft and they have these avaialable as downloads for a short time only so get them while you can!

Well, I have finally got my act together and got my mojo back.....I think! I went on holiday to Cornwall a couple of weeks ago and when I came back it seemed that my mojo had completely vanished....left on the beach I think!

Anyway, I seem to be getting back into the swing of things now and thought I would put up some more cards on my blog. I have been feeling ill today with the horrible sickness and diarrhoea ( yuck) so can't be too far from the bathroom and have had an impromptu day off work, shame I haven't been able to enjoy it!!

On Saturday the let's get stamping group over on Craftbubble had the usual challenge and there was a sketch to follow as well as the added twist of using the colours red, white and blue.

Katie's challenge on craftbubble

Here's my take on the challenge. There was a sketch to follow along with two twists which were 1. use a punch somewhere on your card and 2. use a card size you don't normally use. I happen to hate this card size so it certainly was a challenge and the punch I have used is a fiskars one. Despite the fact that I hate the card size I still love the card and am quite pleased with the outcome!

Craftbubble challenge

Yesterday was craftbubble challenge day! I thought I'd better do this one as I hadn't done last weeks! Whoops! Anyway, I wanted to make a thankyou card for my friend for the great night we had last night whilst our other halves were away on a stag weekend! Any excuse to make a card I say! Anyway there was a sketch as always and you had to include some sparkle! I have added some glitter to the leaves which you can't unfortunately see and the girl's belt! The image is a digi one from charmed cards and crafts and the papers are all various pink petticoat ones apart from the base paper which is a dovecraft one. I have also used my new nestability dies!! I want them all!!

Craftbubble challenge

I have had lots of fun playing with my new download and have used it to do the sketchie challenge on craft bubble. You had to use some textures and I have gone totally texture crazy! I have played with the sketch and turned some things around and not others. I made the fence around the fairy 3D by bending and folding and am in the middle of making another card with this download. I love it!! Images have been coloured with my beloved promarkers.
