Last post of the day.

I was very saddened to hear that Pollycraft are closing as I do like to use digi stamps sometimes. Well they had a deal on for 100 digis so I had to purchase them. Here's one of the little cuties, Celeste Amberglow, this time coloured up with copics. thought I'd finsih with something nice and bright and I thought I'd enter it into the Papertake weekly challenge which is True colours.

I love promarkers challenge.

It's always my intention to keep in touch with friends regularly, but sometimes real life can get in the way of things and I don't see my friends as often as I would like. I am planning on catching up with a friend  soon though and so I have made my friend Sarah this card.  I am also entering this into the I love promarkers challenge as this week it's die cuts. I am also entering it in to the Sugar Bowl challenge. I used up the papers from the last project as you can see!

Penny Black Challenge - Monochrome

It's been a trying week all things considered. Our old puss cat went missing last weekend, then returned for one last cuddle with my brother and he called my parents back from holiday to tell them that old pusskins was going downhill and he thought my Mum and Dad would want to see him before he had to be taken to the vet. They packed up from holiday as quickly as they could and returned home. Sadly for us, we think he ( Beau our cat) just briefly stopped by and couldn't wait for my Mum to return and we think he has now passed away somewhere. We have hunted everywhere, we've asked neighbours, looked under bushes and called and called him. His bed has gone unslept in, his walkway to the orchard is growing over now and his food and water went untouched. So with a heavy heart we think he passed away on Monday afternoon. My brother is a proper old softy at heart, he used to go and buy him chicken and cook it for him when Mum and Dad were on holiday and spoil him rotten, buying him new things and giving out lots of cuddles, so I think it's only right that he came back to see him before he passed. Seeing an empty space now where he used to sit brings a lump to my throat. I was going to use a Penny Black cat to do the monochrome challenge for Penny Black Saturday, but I found it too painful so have gone for the mouse instead. It's quite a simple card, unusual for me.

Papers Pink Petticoat little hearts
Pink Petticoat sentiments.
Nestabilities dies.
Promarkers : Sandstone,Ivory and Vanilla only.

Wedding Day wishes.

I have been making Wedding Day cards these past couple of days and here's one of them, this time coloured with copics in lovely pastel shades. The image is a fabulous Lili of the valley image and papers are old ones from my stash. I have used my last piece of white organza ribbon, so I need to go craft shopping for more! Yay!! Flowers are cute ones from Wild Orchid Crafts and I am getting low on these too....any excuse to go craft shopping!!

Sarah Kay

I love these Sarah Kay designs but they take me hours to colour! The detail is so fine and you have to be so careful with your pens! I did think about colouring this with my prismas but in the end went with my promarkers and lots of them! I made the flower using my Tim Holtz tattered floral die and some distress ink and the sentiment is from pink petticoat.
I am entering this into the following challenges.
I love promarkers - Anything goes
Wild Orchid crafts - Anything goes
Allsorts - buttons and bows.

New Di's digi challenge.

Another fortnight gone, so time to pop over and see the new challenge over at Di's digi designs challenge blog. You have the chance to win a voucher from Joanna Sheen. This week our remit was " Bling it up" and I just loved this challenge! I have used this really cute birdie image and loads of bling, pretty bright papers etc.
My image has been coloured with a mixture of copics and spectrum noirs ( not so keen on these pens, bought a set to try and have to say that I won't be buying any more.)  I have also used pretty wild rose studio papers, glittery card, feathers, pearls, clear gems, a charm from my stash and various dies.
I wish to enter this one into the following challenges.
Papertake weekly - In the garden
Digital Tuesday - Anything clear ( My gems)
Truly Scrumptious - Anything goes
Cute card Thursday - A touch of sparkle
Our Craft Lounge - Photo inspiration

Hello Little Butterfly

Here is a cute Tilda. The sentiment is from pink Petticoat.

Wish.

We all wish for many things in life, health, happiness, good friendships, world peace, to name but a few of the most important. I made this card with a few challenges in mind and top of my list is the Sugar bowl challenge which asks for you to use your favourite Sugar Nellie stamp. This one is a lovely quirky one, but I do wish I had them all!
I have coloured this beauty with promarkers and the dies are memory box ones. I have also glittered her wings but it's difficult to see in the photo. I would like to enter this one into the following challenges.

The sugar bowl - sketch and theme of favourite Sugar Nellie stamp
I love Promarkers - Pins and charms
Willow sketchie challenge- handmade flowers

80 Years young

I'm off to a party next weekend for an 80 year old lady who has flown back to the UK  from Barbados where she now lives to celebrate her milestone birthday. I have known this lady since I was a little girl and she used to live next door to us when I was growing up. It'll be lovely to catch up with her and her family as we've all grown up and haven't seen each other for a few years.
I'm hoping that this card is young enough for her! It's a digi download from Charmed cards and crafts from the Let it Shine collection. It has been coloured with copics.
