No card to post today, but I have been having a colouring frenzy! My dear friend, Diane, sent me some copics to try. I have always been a promarker girl, or a prisma pencil girl, but I couldn't resist trying these babies to see how I would do. Well I have to say that I love the vibrancy of the copics and that brush tip, just does it for me! Being able to gently flick with the pens certainly beats the promarkers! Here's some images coloured with the pens that Diane sent me.
What do you think? And are you a promarker or a copic fan? I'd be interested to know what you think.

Wow you have been busy colouring and looks like you have really enjoyed trying out the pens. i have never tried them before and only ever used promarkers. I like the sound of the softer tip for brushstrokes

These images look wonderful.. The colouring is super..
I use promarkers myself, I have never tried copics..
Am interested in what people say about this topic..

Hi hunny
Considering I sent you very limited colours, these are fantastic. You have really done brilliantly with them. You'll be on all the design teams soon!!
Love Di
i use pm's but these look fab.....think it's more down to technique than pens tho x
I'm a pro marker girl but people who paint love the flexible brush tip of the copics and I KNOW that the copics offer better skin colours
Love the image colouring you've done today
Happy Sunday

I use promarkers and spectrum noir pens but your images here are stunning the colouring is gorgeous ever thought about selling them coloured?!!:) Sandra H
I am a fan of promarkers but your copics are great. Good job!

Hi Rosie, your pics look fantastic. I love my copics, but as they are a bit more expensive I don't have as many. I use my prismas as well on top of the copics but then I do like my promarkers as well. Mixture of both I reckon hehe xx
i`m another promarker/flexmarker addict too.i have never tried copics though but i like that promarkers are cheaper and they last ages.
xx coops xx
Hi Rosie
I have to say I'm a Copic girl. I tried promarkers first, but soon found that the Copics were by far the superior pen. They blend so much better and also there are over 300 shades.
Your creations look fantastic!

wow! They are splendidly coloured. Love the shaded effects you have been able to achieve. I'm a PM person just cos they were what I bought ages ago. Don't have a complete collection at all (about 40/50 pens) but too expensive to start again with Copics. Maybe if I get a 'proper' job (rather than a PhD stipend) I would have PMs, Copics, prismas... the lot! Probably woudn't have any more time to use them though :(
Hope you have a lovely week off work x
Many thanks for your comments so far everybody. Wow, what a divide! I started off with cheapo watercolour pencils, but the result I had with them were awful! Then I went to promarker for ages and I did, and still do love them, but I do find it hard to get into tiny spaces with them adn I don't fancy forking out for the other nib covers you can buy for each pen. I Am going to buy a few more copics, I do still love prima pencils as well, so I guess my final verdict is that sometimes you need a different colouring medium to suit the image you are colouring and the particular result you want to achieve. xx
You're colourings are fantastic Rosie
For me it's Copics every time
I bought Copics first but was convinced I was missing out on something so bought the pro markers but was never really warmed to them so sold them then I bought Prisma pencils but they were hard work and not for me
Now I'm about to try painting with distress ink .....will let you know how I get on !! ;)

Hello Crafty Rose!< I haven't been in for ages!! just following one of those links that appear (still don't know how) at the bottom of posts under the comments, and it lead me here! Had to come and see! Coz I'm a Promarker nut! BUT on saying that, so many people can really colour sooo well with copic's that they are slowly turning my head!! I only have a few (copics) Nothing that would colour like yours here! Does it make a difference on which paper/card you use!? I must get more and try!!!
happy crafting!!
