Last post of the day, I think!

My last card of the day is this one, which again is a Mo's image and also my last purchase of Mo's images!
You know what I used to colour it, don't you?! I love the girls in their tutus here....just so cute.

Another Mo!

Well, as I said in a previous post I had to buy more than one Mo image! This time I need to thank Cherry for the backing paper as I won it in her blog candy a while ago. So thanks to you as well hun. Again my image has been coloured with prismas.

A thank you card

This is going to my friend Sarah, for being kind enough to write me a reference for OFSTED, so thanks hun. xxxxxxxx
A special thanks must also go to Susie at die cut dreams for the image which I won in one of her blog candys a while ago now.

A Mo Manning card

I saw this gorgeous image coloured in with prisma pencils on Bluebertie's blog and I knew I had to have it as well! Whilst I was on Mo's site I ended up buying more than one image and set to work with my prisma pencils. My colouring needs some work, I think, but the images are jsut fabulous.

Dottie's world and Lothian crafts challenge.

This card fits the bill for both Dotties world and Lothian crafts challenges. Over at Dottie's world, the challenge was to make a card using predominantly green and a little metal charm. This month's Lothian Crafts challenge is to make a card using a summery theme.  I thought the flowers and butterflies worked well for this. The die cuts are new and were purchased from Lothian crafts, in fact they only arrived this morning and have been put to good use already! The stunning image is one of the pixie chicks from Charmed cards and crafts.  I jsut love these downloads and use them often!

This weeks Craftbubble challenge has been set by Lauren!

Yep, that's right it was a Lauren specila this week and she wanted us to concentrate on our edges! Pop over to the LGS stamping group to see what we have been up to!
I have been getting distressed with my edges this week and also inked them and the stunning image is from Lili of the valley.  Take a look at their stamps I promise you, you will be tempted........won't you Lauren??!!

Oh I'm late!

This was last week's craftbubble challenge and I apologise for the lateness of the post Karen! Karen offered us this fab sketch with the added twist of using two colours only.  My image is from Rubbadubbadoo and the flowers are an old personal impressions stamp.  I have coloured the images with my prisma colour pencils.

New craftbubble challenge.

A new sketch challenge has been posted this week on the LGS group group on Craftbubble and this week we had celebrity guest designer Kathy Kirby. A very well known member of the Craftbubble community and all round nice gal! She set us a sketch and  the challenge of using a techinique you haven't used for a while or that is new and using colours you don't normally choose.
I have used a Mo Manning image and my papers are from Pink Petticoat. I coloured the card using my Prismas which haven't had an outing for a very long time!
Stop by the LGS group to view the sketch and challenge properly!!

Lothian crafts May challenge.

Over on the Lothian crafts challenge blog which can be reached if you click on the link in the shop you will see that they have a May sketch challenge.

Here's my entry. I have used a lili of the valley image and this little fairy is one of my favourites. the papers are from docrafts V and A papers. It has a kind of vintage feel to it.

My friend's card.

This is for my dear friend Nicky. Every month we choose a challenge which we both do and then exchange cards.  It's a really nice way of getting something nice in the post and of course knowing that your friend has made it especially for you is even nicer!

New Craftbubble challenge.

This week I also set the challenge over on the LGS group on Craftbubble. As usual my fellow design team members have come up trumps and produced some fab cards! I am also seeing that my fellow friends on LGS have also made some fab creations and I would love you to come over and join us!

Here is my sketch and the twist is food. I have used a digi stamp from digi stamp boutique and papers are from Pink petticoat and Clare Curd signature range. I shall also be entering this one in to the digi stamp boutique May competition!

Catching up!

Catching up seems to be what I do a lot on my blog! Anyway, this weeks Willow Sketchie challenge was set by me.  It's the last challenge for a while as WSC is taking a break. The recipe I chose to use was some embossing, some holes and some leaves.  You can buy this little fairy download from Willow designs. Very cute it is too!

Die cut dreams challenge.

I had a look at the die cuts dreams challenge blog and saw that two of my favourite themes were being used Tilda and pink so I thought I would take part this time.  Thanks must go to Debbie of ribbon dreams for her kind donation of the Tilda images.  Thanks hun.  I really went a bit OTT with the pinkness of this card but I think it was worth it!!

More digi stamp boutique!

I just love these digi stamps!  I do have quite a collection but there is always room for a few more!!

Digi stamp boutique May competition

Over at the digi stamp boutique they have a competition every month as a way of sharing customer's creations which I think is a fab idea! My Jim card is currently linked from their blog to here which was lovely to know so thanks Sally-Anne for that! They have some fab digi stamps in their shop and here's one I made using one of the brand new ones. Perfect for several occasions I thought and fits the bill perfectly for a different new baby card! Always handy to keep in the box for emergencies!!! I'm also entering this one for the allsorts challenge which has a theme of animals.

This weeks LGS group challenge on Craftbubble.

This week on the LGS group Karen set the sketch and asked us to make our own paper flowers. I have made quilled flowers. This also fits in with the Dottie's world challenge this week which is to use sewing on your cards. This also fits in with the challenge on die cut dreams which is to use handmade flowers!!

A golden wedding card

I was asked if I could make a golden wedding card for a couple who enjoy ballroom dancing.  After a great deal of searching through CDs I found this beautiful pair and after lots of fiddling around I came up with this card.  I just hope that they like it.

New Willow sketchie challenge.

Time for another Willow Sketchie challenge and this time we played with a new fairy download. We also had a recipe to play with, which was something green, some checks and use a scrap of fabric.
Here's mine . I made the lollipop flowers using some felt and my nesties and I sewed the tiny buttons on. I also made the gingham rosette using a scrap of material, sewing a running stitch bothe sides. I'm very pleased with my big funky flowers!!

It's been such a lovely day that I have taken myself outside to do gardening....Hmn believe that and I can guarantee that pigs do fly!! No I have been outside enjoying colouring some images with my promarkers. I have coloured up a few Tildas and am now having a lovely time making them up into cards. This one is on its way to my friend Nicky, so hope you don't see it here first hun. x

Fresh challenge on LGS group

Woo hoo! It's a new day and with it comes a new challenge over on the LGS group. This week the very talented Lauren set us the challenge with the twist of "Spring gardens". This time my promarkers have been all rested up and I got out my paint brush and much neglected H20s. I think this medium suits these stamped images form Crafter's Companion. I cut out and stamped all the little pieces individually before making up the picture. Oh and look my sewing machine seesm to be working fine so I'm a very happy bunny!

Willow sketchie challenge.

This week on the willow sketchie challenge we all used this new download from Willow designs. Remember to take part in the sketch challenge at willow sketch challenge you can use any stash you have although we always love to see Willow designs used.

Last one of the day!

After having some difficulties with my sewing machine and of course it is entirely the machine's fault and nothing to do with the operator using the wrong pressure setting for card, dear me no!! I had enormous fun with this Lili of the valley image and I used up some of the bits of paper that I had left over from other projects. Doesn't that feel good when you use things up??!! Makes more room for new stuff doesn't it!!

Camera batteries had died on me so I have scanned this one but I think it has come out ok!

Lothian Crafts challenge.

Fancy winning a £15.00 voucher to spend at lothian crafts then all you have to do is take a lookie at their blog and make a card following their sketch. Here's my entry using Popcorn products that I purchased from their shop. There are some fab bargains to be had at the moment, so do take a look!.

Tilda's sunflower

Here's a card I made yesterday using Tilda holding her sunflower. I think she's so pretty and I love her. xx

Birthday card for my Dad.

It's my Dad's birthday in 4 days time so here's a card I have made especially for him. I have used the Woodware wine buff stamp collection. I had fun playing around with these stamps and wanted to use them all!! In the end I chose these few and I love the colours I have chosen. I think these stamp collections are great and I don't use them as much as I should do!

Sugar bowl challenge.

Over on the Sugar bowl challenge blog, a blog I have only recently found their challenge is to choose a sketch from their listed ones and include a Sugar Nellie stamp. the hardest part was choosing which Sketch to use and which stamp to use as I love them all but I only have a few to play with. Here's hoping that I win some!! lol!! In the end I chose to use the very first challenge sketch, that way I can work through them all!!

New Willow sketchie challenge.

As blogger has been playing up I have been unable to upload my willow sketchie which is a real pain! This week we played with Grace download and Heidi gave us a fab sketch and recipe to play with.
