So I just love, my favorite things stamps and the Christmas releases had me reaching for my purse and I had to have them! Here’s one I made. It has been coloured with promarkers and I made the background using my distress oxide inks, these are another of my favourite things. I just love what you can do with them.

Lili of the valley- Carol singing
Love these lovely Carol singers from Lili of the valley. I have coloured them with promarkers, used lawn fawn stitched border dies and some hobbycraft intricut dies for the snowflakes, which were a bargain!
I’m going to enter this card in to the following challenge

Copics versus spectrum noir pens.
The image on the right has been coloured with spectrum noirs and the one on the left I have coloured with copics. Personally I prefer the copic coloured one as the spectrum noirs were not as easy to blend as the copics. I did use x-press it copic card for copics and Neenah solar crest for the spectrum noirs. Generally though, the price paid for spectrum noirs is cheaper than copics but you cannot buy the refills for spectrum noirs so as pens dry up you are a bit stuck. I also have some refill inks for a couple of the spectrum noirs but was horrified to find that that too has evaporated😡 so sorry spectrum noirs, you lose my vote!
Kit and clowder classes.
I love colouring, I confess, it’s so relaxing and immersing. I have been doing kit and clowder classes quietly for a while and have enjoyed the process without the commitment to have to create “ a project” with it. I have experimented with a range of media and here’s some work using kraft paper and prismacolor pencils. Tomorrow I’ll post some work with spectrum noirs versus copic. Which will win? X
A different phase.
I adore the lawn fawn and my favourite things stamps and dies. I haven’t stopped by here in years , but I signed in tonight and had this as an unpublished post. I was contemplating deleting the blog as I don’t use it anymore.....but now I saw these I thought that the delete button may not have been a good idea... I’ll wait and see what happens. Xx

Harry Potter
Who doesn't like a bit of Harry Potter? When I saw this image a while back I had to buy it and I loved colouring her up, although badly in need of practice!

Wedding card.
I made this for my friend Anna who got married recently. The image is from, the now closed, saturated canary (sob....) The papers are from stampin up ,courtesy of my friend Diane, and the image has been coloured with copics... I'm so out of practice with them! The sentiment is from Lili of the valley and all the pearls and flowers are from my stash. I bought the diamanté embellishment on holiday this year. I fell in love with them and I have been admiring them for ages before actually plucking up the courage to actually use one on a card!

Sitting up high
Here's my last entry for the challenge over at Dis' digi designs. This little one is in the sale. I just love the cute little bear!
Get your shades on!
This one is really bright! You'll need your shades. This image is a Di's digi download, so it's only right that I enter this one in to their challenge blog!
Narwhal love
This is a beautiful saturated canary image called narwhal love. I love these images and I had great fun colouring in this one with promarkers. The sentiment is a pink petticoat one and I have only just realised that pink petticoat has closed! The papers are prima ones that my friend Diane gave me and the flowers are from my stash that I bought from Wild Orchid crafts yonks ago. Naturally my trusty old sewing machine made an appearance! I'm entering this one in to the following challenges.

Two more lots of layers and cuteness.
Here's two more cards for the challenge over at Di's digi downloads. The hedgie card is for my dearest cousin who is very poorly and about to undergo some horrible treatment. She's been through it already and is about to undergo some more so I just want her to know that she's very special. xx

Scarecrow antics
When I saw this little scarecrow over at Di's digis I knew it was perfect for a certain someone! I love Di's busy little mice and I'm so addicted to them. I have teamed it up with some bright papers...old ones might I add and a selection of dies and I dug out the sewing machine and managed to slice through my thumb with my paper trimmer, but the pain was worth it as I love how this came together. I dug out my old promarkers too. It amazes me that they still work after being left for so long! I'm going to enter this one in to the new challenge over at Di's digis which is lots of layers and boy don't I just love my layers! I alos need to shout out to Lili of the Valley for their excellent customer service. I bought these sentiment stamp sets back in 2012 and was horrified to find that these had begun to crumble and split. I posed the question on their facebook page and received a new set of stamps and an explanation for why this had happened. Apparently not enough water was used when the stamp set I bought was manufactured and this caused the stamps over time to do this. Well done Lili of the valley for excellent customer service and no quibbles. Hope my scarecrow doesn't scare you all away!

Here's a pretty saturated canary pretty all ready for Easter. I coloured my image with copics and distressed inked the edges with a little frantage around the edges too. Hope you like her.

Wendy's wishes and Daisy kisses.
I have managed to stamp a candibean image by the very talented Di of Di's digi download designs. I love her cute images and was very proud to be part of the design team. But now I can play with her fab images or stamp as in this case without the pressures that being on a design team can give. It also means that I can join in with the challenges! Win win! This little cutie has been coloured with copics and I have used a few delicious dies and some vintage photo distress ink and the papers are stampin up ones. I'm going to enter this one in to Di's digi downloads challenge.

Pink and black.
Here's one I made earlier. Totally untraditional colour combination for Easter, but I do love the combination! This is a new Saturated Canary digital image. I have coloured her with copics and the papers are old Echo park ones. Shock horror but I have almost finished the pad of papers! So I'm rocking the stash reduction self challenge! The die is a Noor design one.

A Gentle break and return
I've been missing from my blog in absolutely ages! I have had a bit of a time of it and lost my crafting mojo, big time! Unfortunately I'm having to have a slow return as my hands are giving me a lot of pain and so anything I make takes me ages because the discomfort and the fact that I keep dropping things doesn't make me smile! Unfortunately I had to stand down from my design team position from Di's digi downloads too which made me really sad as I loved working with Di's digi stamps but I knew I couldn't keep up with it as I have good days and bad and that wasn't fair of me to keep letting people down. So, please don't be too harsh as my colouring is not very good on this one, but it's the first card I have made in months and it's for my Mum for Mother's Day. I had a rummage through my stash and found some pretty organza ribbon, some old echo park papers, a magnolia vintage tag die with some snippets used to make the tag.....Kathy would be pleased.....and I have dug out some frantage, and white embossing powder, which |I used on the magnolia stamped butterfly , coloured with vintage photo distress ink and I hand sewed around the image....it took me ages but I like the effect and it saved me trying to haul my sewing beast on to my table! The image is a Saturated Canary image called May.

My Final entry for the Sugar Bowl challenge
Here is my third and final entry for the Sugar Bowl challenge. I have coloured this little beauty with promarkers and she has been glittered on her wings with glamour dust. Papers , as always, have dutifully come from the enormous paper stash that I have at my disposal! They don't seem to be going down though, yet I have used loads!! Flowers are from the stash that my dear friend Diane gave me before she moved to Spain. Hugs to her. xxx
Sugar Love
Christmas isn't that far away.....! So with this in mind I have been on a Christmas card making mission! I have treated myself to a couple of Sugar Nellie digis. I know not everybody likes digital stamps, but I love them! This little bunny was a free one that came with my order. Hope you like and I am going to eneter it in to the sugar bowl challenge with the theme of anything goes. He's quite a versatile little chap because he could be used for so many different occasions. Papers are old ones and he has been coloured with promarkers.
