Dottie's world challenge
This weeks challenge on Dottie's world is to make a card for a teenager. I found a great quote
" Adolescence is a period of rapid changes. Between the ages of 12 and 17, for example, a parent ages as much as 20 years!"
With this in mind I tried to capture changes in this card. Hence change of hair colour and style.
Let's get stamping group on craftbubble
This week on the let's get stamping craftbubble group karen took charge as guest designer She gave us quite a challenge! We had to include embossing, a charm and interpret the sketch. On top of this we had to make a bookmark! I chose to use some willow design stamps and a couple of woodware clear stamps. I used cuttlebug embossing folders too.

Dare you to digi stamp
The challenge on this fairly new blog was to make a card using the colours pink and green only! I'm on a bit of a roll with this now! Of course you had to use digital images and searching through my collection I found this piggy, the perfect image! It's from charmed cards and crafts. I have coloured it with my promarkers, used digi papers and added some papermania flowers. I'm quite liking this card although I say it myself!!

Tracy has blog candy! Very nice too Tracy! To be in with a chance to win this lush blog candy all you need to do is to stop over to her blog and see what you need to do!! Good luck everybody!

Christmas! New Dottie's world challenge.
Ok so the sun might be shining and you might be thinking holidays, bikinis ( or not!) but over on Dottie's world Christmas has landed early and we have been challenges to make a Christmas card! Well, this meant unpacking a box as I tend to put my Christmas craft box away in January! I had already printed this background and it was in my file it was form the cute companions christmas cdrom I think! All I added were the delightful cats, coloured with my promarkers and some red paper and a pink petticoat download paper. The sentiment I generated on the computer. It's certainly a very cosy feeling ! I ended up having to scan this one as the shine from the card seemed to blur the rest of the picture.

Craftbubble challenge
It's been a day of challenges for me! This is my last one of the day and it's the craftbubble challenge on the let's get stamping group normally run by Sharon. This week there was a guest designer - the very lovely Katie and the sketchie was her inspiration. Pop over to her fab blog to have a look at her work!. As well as the sketch there were two twists. One was to use just two colours which is almost impossible for me and the second was to make a little gift tag to go with it made from the leftovers! Here they are .
Willow Sketchie challenge.
Meanwhile over on the Willow sketchie challenge , the lovely Dawny designed this weeks sketch. Well I had to do this one as I bought the lovely Walter and Winnie downloads and the twist this week was to either flip, twist or rotate the sketch, add something pink or girlie or both. I did both! I loved doing this sketch, so thanks Dawny for giving me the inspiration to play with it. I made the flower embellishments with the packaging I mentioned below. I added a panel of embossed and chalked bloom dots and a panel of stamped and embossed handbags which were additionally embossed with a clear glaze to make them totally sumptious! The wording was computer generated and I also used faux stitching. I absolutely love this card and am really going to have trouble parting with it!!
Dottie's world challenge
The challenge this week over on Dottie's world was to use a charmed cards download with everything handmade so all the embellishments and backing papers etc had to be handmade. Here is my effort. I have had a bit of a recycling frenzy on here!
I made the flower embellishments using my big shot and some cardboard packaging that I had through the post this week. I found a material scrap that I had and I made the bow with a shred of the cardboard that backs the image. I know it said no backing papers unless handmade but it's card and I didn't have any flower things that I could use!! I used my H20s to colour the birds and computer generated wording of Happy anniversary. The embossed, stamped groovy wording comes from an old set I have from Rubadubbadoo. I chalked the grass, drew the musical notes and doodled the edging. I think it's ok but now I need to buy either some green card or a small flower stamp!!

Craftbubble sketch
Last Saturdays Lets get stamping craftbubble sketch required some careful thought! Having fallen in lurve with Walter over on Willow designs I just had to use him on my take of the sketch. He now has a friend and she, funnily enough, is now also in my posession. Who couldn't fall in lurve with this little fella though? I have added texture with the feather and a scrap of material that I had. I also used some beautiful, adhesive stones for the centre of the flowers. I also liquid embossed little Walter so that he shines . The image was coloured with my promarkers......of course!

Dottie's world challenge
Evening all! This weeks challenge over on Dottie's world was all things bright and beautiful. I have chosen to use the beautiful image from the Holly and Madison collection and have coloured it with my beloved promarkers. This card is for a special somebody! The flowers are cut from a sissix bigz die and I am making use of my big shot that hubby bought me! The bright cheery brads are dovecraft and the pink flower is a prima flower. I have also liquid embossed the hat to give it shine. The papers are of course Pink Petticoat as so many of my papers are! The sentiment was just one I printed on the computer. I still have the craft bubble challenge and willow sketchie to do, but yippee Easter hols means either more crafting or housework, so guess which one will win although I really do need to tidy up my craft space just so I can have an excuse to admire my ever growing stash!
