Easter loveliness

Here's some more Easter cards that I sent using the same image. Call me terrible, but I am ashamed to say that I removed the sparkly button before sending this to my auntie because I could not part with it. Lauren would be on my side I know!!!

Craftbubble Easter inspiration challenge.

Morning all. This week I set the challenge over on the CMLI group and this time I used a photo for inspiration.
Here is what I did with it. I used an old Magnolia stamps and lots of pretty flowers from Wild Orchid crafts.

Tilda holding flowers

This is Tilda with butterfly dress and as she is holding flowers I am entering her in to the Totally Tilda challenge. Flowers are from my dear friend Diane, as are the papers, and the Tilda stamp! Lace, ribbon and buttons are from my stash. Tilda has been coloured with promarkers and copics and the punched butterfly is a Martha Stewart delight. Hope you like her!

The Purple Princess Masculine pose!

Our favourite purple princess came up with a fab sketch and challenging theme this week. She wanted us to go masculine! Now I needed a card for my brother-in-law and I confess to not having inked up this little chap before! He's from Lili of the Valley and he's been coloured with copics. The die is a Tim Holtz one and the sentiment is a stampin up one.

Easter Browns

Here's Tilda happily minding some eggs, although I am pretty sure, if she's anything like me those eggs in her dress are likely to fall on the floor and break. Somebody give her a basket!! My images have been coloured with promarkers and I used burnt orange, coral, cinnamon, walnut, chestnut, cocoa, black, canary, buttercup, eggshell, sandstone, cocktail pink, antique pink, baby pink, sunkissed pink, blush a selection of greys and a whole lot of love! There may be more, but I don't have the whole collection to hand! I have also played with my Martha Stewart punches and the ribbon was very kindly given to me by Diane. I have also used spellbinders dies, lili of the valley sentiment, wild orchid crafts flowers, some pearls and eyelets from my stash, linen papers and my trusty old sewing machine!! Phew!

Tilda as a Shepherdess.

I made a bit of a boo boo on my tag as I'd stuck the flower on before I'd stamped the sentiment and it didn't stamp correctly, so I had to cover it up with another stamped sentiment. I was really cross with myself about this!! Tilda has been coloured with promarkers. I just can't decide which colouring medium I like best! Time to dig out my paints possibly? I haven't played with them for ages!! I should have been a Gemini not a Pisces!

Tilda obsession!

Yep, I have been playing with my Tildas! I do love her!

My Birthday present from my friend, Diane.

My dear friend, Diane sent me this gorgeous little Tilda for my birthday along with some fabby papers. Yes, I knwo aren't I lucky! She knows how Tilda obsessed I am......as is she!!! Or should that be " she was" as she has sold pretty much most of her Tilda's now. She did have an amazing collection, but luckily for me, I have been acquiring quite a collection of her Tildas and I can assure her that they have definitely gone to a Tilda loving home! This was the card I made her as a thankyou, with the stamp she bought me. lovely lady!
It's been coloured with a combination of copics and promarkers.

Craftbubble challenges!

I am also behind on these, so here's a catch up! Last week the lovely Nicola set the challenge and I used the new Michael Powell stamp from Docrafts. It was quite daunting to start colouring initially, I have to say, and I used promarkers as my copic stash is so limited.

This week the super talented Karen set the challenge and she is making sure that we all keep on track with making Christmas cards and has gone for a Christmas carol/song card to get us into the festive spirit!! I can't say that I'm feeling it, with the sun shining as beautifully as it is!! This one has been coloured with copics and she's a Penny Black stamp.

New Di's digi challenge.

Oh my oh my I am so late with things this week! I have just had so much going on that I haven't had time to catch up here and this is why I am a bit behind. Also do take a look at my fellow DT's creations using Di's fabby images. They are all stunning! The theme of this week's challenge is embossing and this can be wet or dry. i have used the gorgeous bubble duck which can be purchased here and my image has been coloured with prisma pencils. There's plenty of stickles here too!

Husband's birthday card.

It's hubby's birthday on the 25th and it'a milestone for him! I won't say which, but it's nifty something! So I didn't put a number on it because I know he's a bit touchy about the subject! The image is a lili of the valley and it has been coloured with promarkers. I'm still preferring the copics though, I have to say! I have added limited embellishments and just a simple layout. I just hope that he likes it!

Copics or promarkers? Which do you prefer?

No card to post today, but I have been having a colouring frenzy! My dear friend, Diane, sent me some copics to try. I have always been a promarker girl, or a prisma pencil girl, but I couldn't resist trying these babies to see how I would do. Well I have to say that I love the vibrancy of the copics and that brush tip, just does it for me! Being able to gently flick with the pens certainly beats the promarkers! Here's some images coloured with the pens that Diane sent me.
What do you think? And are you a promarker or a copic fan? I'd be interested to know what you think.

Promarker and Tilda magic

I'm having a real Tilda love at the moment, I can't seem to stop making cards with her. Having recently re-discovered my promarkers it feels like a new love affair. I have been prisma pencilliing for so long that the promarkers were gathering dust and stayed neglected for such a long time, that I had considered getting rid of them. I'm glad I stopped for a moment though, sometimes old things are just as good and need to be loved as new things and old things need nurturing too. Philosophical me today, I think, so here's some promarker magic using simsalabim Tilda , nitwit and pink petticoat papers, wild orchid roses and crystal stems, stampin up sentiment and one sacrificed button and organza ribbon.

Thank you Diane

This little card is going off on its travels to my friend Diane who lives in Manchester. It's a thank you card for everything she's done for me recently. I can't thank her enough for her kindness, patience and general loveliness and for those fab emails you sent that have made me laugh out loud. Thanks hunny, I needed it! You've  made these past few weeks of difficulty so much more bearable and sending hugs right back at you. I'm coming up for air now and hoping the wind changes ;0) Wish I'd been able to have a pink and grey schoool uniform ;0) x

Another stamp that used to belong to Diane! Isn't she a sweetie? ( Diane and the stamp!!)

Elegance.

I'm not really an elegant kind of lady, but here's my interpretation of elegant and classy!

My sweet friend

Here's today's creation using another Tilda from the raising the ceiling collection. I have been playing with promarkers again.....there seems to be a bit of a theme here doesn't there?! I am enetering this one into Dutch Dare card challenges where the challenge is to gain inspiration from the photo there.

Blonde Tilda

Here's Tilda as a blonde! This cute stamp came from my dear friend Diane. ( Thanks hunny!) Tilda has been coloured with promarkers, quite a lot of colours actually in order to get the skin colours right and the reds for the clothing. The die cuts are magnolia doohickey ( flowers) and docrafts nesties. I really like these and they are great value for money! The DPs are Pink Petticoat from the fairy dots collection. ribbon and lace is from my stash.
We were supposed to go out tonight, but sadly the snow has put paid to that. It's more rain like now but I'm not sorry to be stuck at home with my papers, inks and stamps. There will be more cards to come!

Brrrr it's cold outside!

Today sees the snow now falling across Bath and it is beginning to settle in places. So it's perfect weather to stay inside, keep warm and craft! Sunday Greens with a bit of love.
